We would like to thank FOS and all families for your support at our Annual Summer Feast which was held on the evening of Friday 5th June. We were fortunate that the weather held out for us (despite the threat of thunderstorms!) We were delighted again by the amazing skills and confidence of the children in the Talent Show. The whole event was a huge success and we raised an amazing £1360 – so thank you so very much for your continued support.
10 am We have just heard that the coaches have arrived safely in France with the children and staff on their way to the Battlefields in Belgium.
The visit from the Raptor Foundation was the Stunning Start for our summer term topic 'Ready Steady Grow!' During the topic we will be looking at living things, learning what their needs are and how they grow. You will find lots of photos of the visit in our Gallery section of our website tevershamschool.co.uk/gallery/
Our new After School Club is scheduled to open on 1st June. This Club is being run by KidsRUs. There was a strong interest expressed in the After School Club on site. However, so far only a very small number of children have registered. Please do register your child as soon as possible if you wish to use this club. Please email Poppy from KidsRUs at poppy_ball@live.co.uk for further information on how to register. A lack of numbers may mean that the After School Club cannot open until September, and only then if numbers are sufficiently high.
Cambridgeshire County Council are aware that all schools in the area have issues around parking for parents. It is in fact an issue across the County. To bring this to the attention of all schools and their parents, the County have issued a road safety video to share how important it is to keep everyone safe when travelling to and from school. We will be sharing this video clip with pupils and if you would like to watch this you may do so by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page. Please STOP! THINK! and PARK SAFELY! Thank you.
