Welcome to Hawk Class letter
Please take the time to read our workshop presentation.
We enjoyed developing our hand-eye co-ordination with a visit from Will from Pendragon Circus!
For our Marvellous Middle, we visited Stibbington Centre to learn about solar power, wind turbines and the water cycle.
We pushed ourselves outside of our comfort zones this week after a visit from Mike Mullen. He taught us to learn from our failures (FLEARN) and to be resilient, even if we find things tough at first. Look at the new skills we learnt by pushing ourselves outside of our comfort zones!
Learning about Plate Tectonics. We made models of the inside of Earth to help us remember about the Inner Core, Outer Core, Mantle and Crust.
Summer Term Stunning Start: It's A Wonderful World. Researching Natural Disasters and representing them through art.
Year 6 took part in the Marshalls LaunchPad programme.
Our Spring Term Stunning Start brought an art gallery to Teversham
Christmas Jumper Day!
Hawk Class Marble Treat - we finally reached 100 marbles so had an afternoon watching a film together in our pajamas!
A visitor came into Hawk class to share with us a family heirloom - a real roman sword!
An archaeologist came to visit Hawk class to talk about her field of work.
A school trip to Flag Fen to learn about the changes from the Stone Age to Iron Age
Hawk Class took part in Bikeability to learn how to be safe on the roads when cycling.
Hawk class went to Grafham Water Centre for their Residential trip. They spent two nights away from home and took part in lots of adventurous activities.
