At Teversham Church of England Primary School, we are delighted to be able to work closely with groups within our community and are constantly striving to develop our links further.
We treasure the times we spend in the Parish Church. These include our special Encounter Days, and our Harvest, Christmas, Easter and end of term services to which parents and community are invited. Revd Nick Moir and Revd Sharon Byrne lead our worship in school regularly.
Hope Community Church meets in our school hall every Sunday morning and we are grateful to Matt Lillicrap, Pastor of the church, who regularly leads worship in school. Members of the church support the school in a wide variety of ways, including hearing children read.
We are always pleased to accept offers of help from members of the local churches and to explore ideas of how we can further develop our ways of working together.
Safeguarding:
This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The school operates a stringent Child Protection policy, in line with Cambridgeshire Area Child Protection guidelines. All volunteers will be subject to a clear DBS check and will be required to provide references.
