  • World Book Day 2017.

    A great big thank you to all parents and carers for their support with our children dressing up for World book day. There were some very imaginative and creative costumes. The whole school got to see all of the costumes in a special assembly and we read together at the end of the day. It was fantastic to see the enjoyment our older children got from sharing books with our younger children during this day. 
  • Food to fork project.

    As a school we are taking part in the McCain food to fork project. Each class will be planting some potatoes to grow. When they are ready we will Harvest them and cook them to eat. There will be a prize for the class with the heaviest crop at the end of the project. The potatoes need to be left to grow shoots before we plant them. This is called chitting. They are currently on the window sill in the hall so we can all see them.

  • Shrove Tuesday

    We have been learning about why we celebrate Shrove Tuesday. We had a worship demonstration and the whole school was able to taste pancakes in their class.

  • Bell ringing worship

    We enjoyed worship with Nic Boynes and some of our year 6 accompanied him on the bells.

     

  • Science Stunning Start to the term.

    The whole school took part in a science day with visiting scientists. The children learnt a wide range of scientific skills, vocabulary and undertook experiments. It was a wonderful experience and many of us have been inspired to explore more science related topics this term. We have created display around school to show the learning that took place. When you are in school take a look!
