Admissions

We do operate a waiting list and places are offered on a first come, first served basis.

Demand for our Pre-School is very high. We are registered with Ofsted and admit children from the ages of two years and 10 months to five years. We limit the number of places we can offer to two year olds due to staff ratios. 

We serve the children and families of Teversham and the surrounding villages. However, we also welcome applications from further afield, particularly for the siblings of children who have attended our pre-school previously, or currently attend the school.

Fees and opening hours:

Teversham Pre-school operates during school term times. We open from 8.45am-3.15pm Monday to Friday. We also offer a Lunch Club until 12.15pm.   

The cost per morning session (8.45am-11.45am) is currently £16.50 for over 3-year-olds and £18.00 for under 3-year-olds.

Afternoon sessions start at 12.15pm-3.15pm and charged at the same price as the morning session. 

Lunch Club is an additional cost of £2.75 (11.45am-12.15pm)

Your child can bring a packed lunch, or a hot meal provided at a cost of £2.60 per day. . 

Funding

You are able to use your 15-hours or 30-hours of Early Years Education funding to pay for your child's Pre-School sessions, if you are eligible.  If you are using your extended entitlement, please visit www.childcarechoices.gov.uk and it is your responsibility to ensure your childcare code remains valid else you will be charged for the sessions. 

We cannot hold places open for your child whilst you await funding eligibility or, for any other reason.  If you are offered a place, then we would expect you to take up the offer to start straight away or, at the agreed date with the Pre-School Manager.

The school reserves the right to increase the fees.

Applying to Teversham Pre-School

We accept applications from children over 2 years and 10 months to 5 years old for a minimum of 3 sessions per week.

You may also collect an application pack in person, during school hours, from the school office.  Please note that the child's name, date of birth, and address will need to be given for an application pack.

If your child attends another setting, or is intending to attend another setting, then please do let us know so that we can liaise with them to support your child.
