Welcome from the Executive Headteacher

I am very proud to be the Executive Headteacher of Teversham Church of England Primary School and Cherry Hinton Church of England Primary School. As two neighbouring and distinctive Church schools, we share a commitment to providing an excellent education rooted in Christian values, while retaining the unique character and strengths of each school community.

At Teversham, I am delighted to work alongside Julie Godfrey, our Head of School, who provides the day-to-day leadership of the school. Together, we are fortunate to work with wonderful children and dedicated staff who are committed to ensuring the very best for every individual child.

Many visitors to our school comment on its distinctive, welcoming ethos and its secure, peaceful atmosphere. We believe this has been achieved through our strong inclusive Christian ethos, high standards of behaviour, and a nurturing, friendly environment that welcomes children from all cultures and home situations, whatever their needs.

We were delighted to see this reflected in the report from our July 2024 SIAMS inspection:

Located close to Cambridge Airport, we attract and welcome children from Teversham, Cambridge city and the surrounding villages. We have close links with Marshall, who sponsor us, and, as a village school, our connections with the Teversham community and local churches are especially important to us.
